Put some armor all wheel protectant on. Good stuff so far. Gives a nice little shine and water just rolls right off

 

Oil change yesterday...Getting pissed that my car can barely do 3000K without burning through most of my oil...

 

^Um... and why is it Infiniti hasn't bought you a new motor yet?

 

Im 5AT and they want me to jump through hoops like a friggen dog. The TSB for oil consumption is for the 6MT's Since im 5AT they want to run the motor through compression test and whatever mad scientist projects they need to. Even though it shows im burning clearly they say if the lab test it and finds nothing wrong im on the hook for the bill.

 

^Who cares about the friggin TSB?!
If you're still under warranty, and you're engine is burning oil at a rate of 1qt/1000mi it should be replaced, rev-up or not.

 

not the way it works. i got lucky they replaced my 5at motor because my service dept wrote it up as a bad oil pump for the the cause. good luck ricky.

 

Thanks Lyndon...Unfortunatly im running out of time since im at 67,500 and they want to run the compression test and what not so I doubt I can get one of the techs to pull a bad oil pump excuse

 

I haven't done a.damn thing to my car but look at it in the garage for the past 3 weeks. But my lip will be on this weekend :-)
