Agreed. If your not down to support then move on with your life. Not saying you'll be excluded and forgotten but just wont get involved in the members raffles and what not when we have them. If you seen the parts that Ian has waiting around for the Next big FGC meet youd be willing to pay up also.

some of us have been contributing to the community in other ways other than monetary.
im not sayin i shuld be included in raffles without paying the member dues but no 1 should be shunned or turned away if they are not able to pay the dues. im sorry but i just moved in to a new house and have tons of other **** way more important to spend my money on. if i need to move becuz of this please let me kno!!!

No hard feelings Edgar. I agree some people are put into situations that they cant afford to pay into the club and thats where some people are accepted due to their status and what they've contributed but that will be on a case by case basis if it comes down to it. But its for the people who bitch and complain that oh this should be this way and that way and try to change things when they have not put in their time to say their word. This is the whole point of the reorganization, to put the club back to where it should be and give the people the choice to voice their opinions. By no means would we turn away a member who didnt pay their dues. That would be hypocritical and I would know because I am one of them.

When I first showed up to the meet, no one ever said hey you didnt pay your dues your not allowed to be here. And no one ever should.

On the note of paying dues.
Nobody is going to get shunned from a meet, but they shouldn't expect to get included in any raffles/giveaways/awards/shirts (unless they buy them) or a spot on the website that are for members. That wouldn't make any sense.

 

meets are always open. we've even sold tshirts to non-members. its usually the raffles that we try and do special prices for members. im thinking we'll try and keep stickers for just members as well.
