SN00P's DIY spring mount MOD w/ before and after pictures

first time ever doing this cause i normally get the right springs/coils lol jk Harvey

now this is the rubber cone thats sits on top of the rear springs/coils. its about 3/4'' think and what i did was cut it flush to where the cone started to go up.

take that to a VISE and put the rubber cone inside.. like so....

now get your handy dandy SAW SAW and start cutting it. i used a metal blade and it worked great .. this is what it should look like ...

after you cut and rotate the rubber cone around you should have a result like this ...

3/4'' cut off ...

here is the final result from stock rubber cone to modified rubber cone ....

now lets install them

here is a before height

after the install of the modified rubber cone your car should have dropped about 3/4'' and should sit like this

thank you ever for takin the time and viewing my DIY spring mount mod

depends how much was cut out from it .. i cut the most YOU can do.. it may go lower after it settles in and will have to adjust the coils up now ...

i tried to get away with using the rubber cone like i did on my sedan but i could almost pull the coil out from the car LOLOL ... but i said lets do this and i went in the back and started cutting .. everything came out awesome

yeah I am also working on getting LCA's and having bushings pressed for those who dont have access to a press and will sell them. majority will be whiteline bushings along with Energy Suspension bushings so they have the option to choose......If someone wants SPL they can pay me to order them and I will press them in and ship them out..I wont stock SPL since they are expensive.
