FGC's Hot August Discussions
I introduced this guy at my work to Driver couple weeks ago when he picked up his coupe. He told me tonight that he let a guy borrow his stock wheels last week, turned out to be Lenox. Small world.
On what scale? You do realize that the WEI tops out at 7.9, right? So if you applied the standard letter grading like in school, that would have been, from a C to an A-
AMD AthlonII X4 640 Quad-Core 3Ghz
8GB G.Skill RipJaws series DDR3 1600 RAM
ASUS M4A88TD-V Motherboard (USB3 + SATA6
)
Numerous hard drives
Twin 22" monitors.
The only shortcoming is my video card (Integrated)
I don't have much time anymore for gaming though, and the on-board card actually isn't half bad.
I was building the computer on a budget, which is part of the reason I didn't get a video card... but I will probably upgrade pretty soon. (it's definitely on my wish list

I don't really care if you think it's weak Cory. Suits my needs quite nicely, and I only spent $550 for the Motherboard, RAM, CPU, Cooler, and both monitors... and most of that stuff was purchased almost a year ago when it took more $ to get decent performance.
In other news... I had never got around to overclocking my computer, so I gave it a quick auto-tweak... 3.0 GHz up to almost 3.5.
Overclocked the RAM too.
WEI went from 7.3 to 7.4 on both CPU and RAM
Not bad at all in my book.
