Thanks to everyone else for the kind words and concern. I am going to have Karim look at it at the next C&C. I sent him pictures last night, waiting to hear back. Also might have to file an insurance claim. I called the mall security but they won't release surveillance footage to me. I had to file a report with OPD and then the mall can release footage to OPD. I will not have a case # for "up to 5 business days." FML.

Veronica think back in your past... do you think this is karma for anything you may of done???

btw The Walt Disney Co. said today that it has agreed on an exclusive deal to build attractions based on James Cameron's "Avatar" at its theme parks, starting with its Animal Kingdom park in Orlando!

Construction is set to begin in 2013 and is expected to be finished about three years after that.

The "Avatar" attraction is to be an immersive land spanning several acres and will cost less than half of the estimated $1 billion it cost to expand Disney California Adventure Park, or around $400 million.

What is sad is that they let some 74 year old guy who built and modified the plane on his own participate in an air show and put peoples lives at stake. Dude should not even be driving let alone modifying and flying planes.

Well if you build a Kit plane, or experimental as they call it. It needs to be approved first before it can fly. As long as the 74 yr old guy was still qualified to fly he really didnt do anything wrong. There are 17 yr olds flying above you right now alone sometimes.

I read that he modified the plane by shortening the wings and rear to "make it faster and more maneuverable" and had not really tested it as well as he should have. So do you really think he was not responsible?

And I feel 10 times safer with a 17 year old flying than a 74 year old. As long as he is not texting while performing arial tricks I think we are ok.

Well I dont agree with 70 yr olds driving on the road either but you know how that goes. Sadly it was an accident and may have been pilot error or like you said something to do with the airplane itself. For all I know the guy had a heart attack flying and crashed. I think I read that at these air races accidents and pilot deaths are high. Maybe safety isnt on their to do list lol.

That wasnt a plane that shvt was a missile with a prop in front of it ready to chew someone in its way. Man all the metal flying everywhere must have sliced people up like nothing. I feel bad for those people, airshows should be fun
