And now for my own story...

Some of you know my roommate, Ryin. He was in a car accident this past Monday. He's okay, but the car is in the shop. It'll be repaired in a few weeks.

The other driver hit him from behind while Ryin was making a left turn, and spun the car around 180. Ryin drives a 05 civic si (EP3). The other guy was in a Nissan Titan.

The other driver is also an attorney.

Long story short, we believe that the other driver heavily influenced the witness and likewise the officer who responded. Ryin got a citation for illegal U-Turn. Now, the other driver is claiming Ryin is at fault and made a claim against his insurance. Keep in mind, he wasn't trying to make a U-Turn, and the other driver hit him from behind.

Blegh.

 

Oh, and tech day coming up soon. Glad this turned out to be a great success. And thanks again for Ricky opening his home to host this event.

Should be a good time. I think I'll be aiming to bleed my brake lines. Probably not much else.

If Ryin was hit from behind then whoever hit him should have been ticketed first. I would fight the " illegal u turn" in court if that wasn't the case. Anytime someone rear ends a another vehicle they are almost always if not always ticketed.

 

I hate that too because I had someone on a phone stop short out of nowhere and I almost hit him and I wasn't doin anything wrong its sucks I would be blamed they need to fix that rule some

 

Yeah, they didn't do the coupes in AWD until just recently.

/\ speaking of relatives moving. My lil brother Just informed me he was promoted... Again but is moving to Alabama for new position. I am not to thrilled cause we are close but am happy for him at same time. I won't be making Tech day now at Rickys this weekend cause I will be in Gainesville helping him out oh well such is life.
