Ok...from what I can gather, Ficticious name registrations are valid for five (5) years. After those five years, you have to renew it for another five years. (another $50 bucks)

So, this equates to $10/year. I say we register it and be done with this "Inc." thing. What do you guys think.

Also...when you register a ficticious name, you can get a FEI number with that ficticious name. Which means that we can open whatever bank accounts in the name of the ficticious name or at least file it with the bank. Which means that any checks written to us can be cashed whether it has the "Inc." or no "Inc." (of course the bank would probably not care if its missing the "Inc." anyways....we have any bankers in the club)

I "third" that motion. Any objections? No. Then motion passed. What's the next order of business...

Kind of feel like the Board is already up and running.

Ok, not to beat a dead horse, but as I understand it, the club is registered as a FL not-for-profit corporation and you are also planning to register the fictious name "Florida G35 Club". Correct?

If that's correct, then you don't need any designation on the shirt. No "Inc", no "not for profit", nada. Just the fictious name (which obviously should not include "Inc"). Florida Stat. 865.09(15).

Sorry, the lawyer in me had to cite the statute.

CORRECT...and YEAHHHHHHH WE HAVE TWO LAWYERS....wait is that good??

to answer...we have decided to splurge for the ficitious name and the "Inc" and "not for profit" will not be on the shirts...

here's another mock up with all the logos. current dimensions on a back of a t-shirt would be 9.5" width, 13" long.

What happened to the state of FL? It looks weird!!! Did we decide to ban the Keys in protest to Russ' homosexual FL Club?

Also the 2 letters "e" in Lokey Infiniti "performance" division are not supposed to be lower case. They're supposed to be UPPER CASE.

Think the t-shirt shop could reduce the pin weight a bit??? Maybe stick with the original state layout?

I hear Russ' old club had white t-shirts. Maybe you should give him a call. I here he's looking for a young boy to "look pimp".
