yes i know that retards, thats why i said to strip it and track it cause it would be lighter than a stripped coupe.

Yeah, Cory and Chris kinda missed the point.

Actually a first gen G would be great for a track *****.

Besides being already lighter than the coupe, early Gs can be had for pretty cheap. And if you find an absolute bottom of the line, no-options, base model, they're the lightest (cloth seats, light mechanical passenger and driver seat, and no sunroof)

Plus, I think a sedan could actually stand to lose even more weight than a coupe if stripped (it has 4 window motors/door panels/etc as opposed to 2, the stock exhaust is a LOT heaver, etc...)




Dang it... now I want a 2nd sedan to strip down and beat up on a track

theoretically ya you should be able to get it a bit lighter cause a lot of the coupe weight is in the sides for extra bracing. hell just use 2 shells for the rear doors and tear everything but the seats, wheel and dash from the interior...

mr. balloonhands - i live in lakeland, fl. i wish someone cud help me out with my brakes...id even pay!
but yea monday i pick up my car from the body shop and im still waiting on my brakes and rotors to come in...but for the mean time im going to put everything that i have bought so far on the car... cant wait ffor tomorrow!!!

Shoot today went awesome! !!

Stay tuned for next weekend when I do a full shoot with gettinby before it goes bye bye .. one of my favorite coupes around and hate to see it go:/


Also have a few coupes joining driver now and joining our club he is making an account now so will be here soon

Im going to make a new thread soon and get everything started 2012 I want everyone in here to be a paid member for the club I want the club to be on top! Park bbqs more meets together etc..

We could have a solid club with 20 gs around and keep growing.

does anyone want to install my new brake pads and rotors on my 04 g35 for me? ill pay and travel to u! im located in lakeland, fl. i dont have any tools,,, and im still waiting on my rotors and pads to come in... mech shops are to outrageous on their prices! can u help a G out? lol
