GTM is a great kit, we install a TON of them with great results. The SFR kit is more a more extreme setup, someone with nearly unlimited budget looking for HUGE power. I'm just not a fan of running any sort of scavenge pump on a daily driver, and some of the modifications you have to make to the subframe to make that kit fit aren't worth it IMO. And the twin TB thing isn't realistic for the average person, since it isn't plug n play by any means.

As far as the kit, I already have the list of items for the kit, now its just pricing it all and working on getting the stuff in stock, I hope to make a lot of progress on it this weekend/next week. When are you looking at ordering parts? I'm sure we could accommodate your needs even if we haven't made the kit public by the time your ready.

to be honest, me either. I picked them up when I traded my husbands Mazda Speed Protege wheels. The specs aren't amazing, but with spacers will still be light years cooler than my XXRs. I love them, even if they do require these stupid fancy lug nuts.

Yep, that is about it. hoping they look good on my G, though I may need to find new barrels for the rear to be completely happy.(18x10.. or 12 with a low offset would truly make them epic)

Most likely tax time but im still undecided on whether my car addiction or my motorcycle addiction is getting fed first. Ive been feeding my car addiction for the last few months and ive been off the bike for almost 2 years now since i wrecked and im starting to get cabin fever. Rob if you were building a SC setup and you were going to rebuild the block what CR would you go with? Stock? 11.1?8.1? 9.5.1? Ive been wondering what i should do cause im coming up to 90k and i dont know how long my block is going to last especially when we add FI into the picture.

My preference for SC (assuming that you never plan to go T or TT) would be 10.3>11>8.8

I think a stockish CR would be ideal, but pistons are drastically more expensive in stock CR since they aren't "self pistons" so with budget in mind I would probably say 11:1. With a good solid tune nothing is really wrong with running boost on a high CR motor, just look at how stock block VQ37s are holding up (11:1 CR), its all about how solid the tune is. Sometimes I even wish I had gone with a higher CR on my built TT, but since its kind of uncharted territory i'm probably better off with my low 8.5:1 (especially once I throw spray into the mix).

Don't necessarily think that just because your at 90k means the engine will fail, its all about how it has been treated thus far. My stock block was driven hard everyday, and had 95k when I boosted it, I made 500rwhp+ for 10k miles, couldn't blow it up and finally just wanted more power so swapped in the built block. Just set some money aside in case you aren't as fortunate, and have a back up ride if you plan to push the limits of the stock block. But I really think with a solid tune around 400rwhp (5AT) you should be fine.

Z day i mean... not Z nationals... ill be in NC for it come may 2012... im gunna try and bring a friend to...
in other news... one of my taillight side markers went out... driver side... so i decided to take out the bulbs in my taillights for the side markers... now they look a lot better... imo!

also...since i just worked a crazy week and i know when i get paid in 2 weeks im going to have some extra cash... ive been thinking of a few choices to through $200-$250...

choice 1: z tube and pop charger combo...
or
choice 2: nifty shifty shift boot and KJ brushed aluminum shift ****
or
choice 3: new side mirrors...painted black!

choice 1... just for a better sound and a lil more hp...
choice 2... i broke my original 5AT shift **** as well as bent and broke off the shift indicator lights...anger issues..lol
choice 3... my mom hit my car with a trash can ripping my drive side mirror off...but now its epoxyed on...i think i spelled that wrong...(iamericgee no comments about my mom from u!)

so anyone have any ideas which choice to choose?
