So I've noticed in my perusing of the site that there is no gauge of how hard someone drives before they are calling it "hard driving". One guy said he drives it hard and doesn't see the slip light come on in dry roads. Personally I have to replace my rear brackets due to traction control. Just curios how the locals feel the hard driving is defined.
Ie redlined daily or just a tire change every six months?

 

lol there is no specific gauge as to what hard driving is. It's all on what you think it is.

 

It's all an opinion, in my opinion if you normal shift at more than 4k rpm then you drive "hard"

 

The A/t shifts at 4k when in D? or is that more determined on how far I am pushing the peddle?

I am pretty sure I drive mine hard as when I borrow my gfs Altima the driving is much different, Just wondering about where everyone else draws the line between hard and why are you allowed behind a wheel?

 

Smoking tires, breaking traction, redlining the engine, speeds in excess of 100mph.....all things I would categorize under "hard driving."

 

That's what I think but other people make it seem like my driving is extremely hard with the soft timid driving they described.

 

I shift around 2500 rpms i think this is normal shifting anything above that maybe?

 

2500 is kinda low, imo. I usually shift @ 3000 maybe 3.5k if i need to beat a car off a red light

 

I live my life a quarter mile at a time.

 

Normal shifting for me is between 3-4k rpms.
