Yea V mentioned that on my FB. Well I may just go down there with you guys. Maybe I'll do a tech day in the near future, but this weekend, being memorial day, is not going to work for me.

 

You can always hop in for the ride down and double check with V for the ride back. Since I'm not coming straight back I can't assist there.

 

And I'm always down for a mini tech day. (sadly enough for my wallet the car gets a few hundred bucks a month as it approaches the dreaded 100k mark)

I dont have a Jammer just a detector, i think they will pull you over if they cant get a reading on you just to find out why.
Sadly i know this ^ all to well....my car has been getting neglected lately, its getting closer and closer to 100k (92k now) and i need new Lower ball mount Bushing, outer tie rod ends, and new front tires soon.

Well I've done research in my insomniac mode and they are now 700 ish. They will cause the gun to error for 10-20 seconds(programmable) then shut off for a minute or two (also programmable). So the cop doesn't get a reading while you slow it the **** down then gets a reading you approve of (while your jammer is off) then a minute or two down the road your blocking the next pric.....officer.

This will be a mandatory piece of any major hp gain I get after paying the G off. Until then we will have to do it like a bike gang one guy gets a reading and signals everyone else to slam the brakes and pray for no tickets.

Also found out a few things on my first day at work. A out discount isn't much 15% maybe
B you can get a warranty on your tires (actually kind of common road hazard warranty) but here is the trick if its a Michelin and you have gotten your quarterly rotations and alignments they will replace the tires no questions.
Michelin doesn't allow any questions asked. So those of you with some nutso camber (or planing on it) this may be a nice workaround for your wear issues. Idk how many times you can do it only paying the hazard insurance fee but hell even if its only two or three times that's a good bit of money saved
