I'm paying for my new wheels tomorrow (thats a secret, no one will know what wheels until they're on the car ) but there is a $200 difference depending on what tires I get. I can get Nitto 555s, or save $200 and get Falken 452s. I've heard mixed reviews on the Falkens. But most of what I've heard has not been good. I want to save $200 but not for the expense of my life or my car if they are not safe tires.

So, give me your thoughts.... go!
I've owned both those tires on Trans Ams before... AVOID THE FALKENS! They're cheaper and moderately comfortable, but the Nittos are much much better grip.

+1 on the Nittos. The grip is phenomenal

Ok thanks guys. That's what I remember, better safe than sorry I think, for an extra $200.

Sorry about your car, Ricky.

I just got off the phone with my dad, I will know by tomorrow for sure if I can move into my new house on the 1st of July. If that happens I will be posting up a thread for any help that any of you wish to provide during the week of July 1-7.

Oh and Happy Father's Day to snoop and all the other fathers on here!

^ Yea dont get the 452s they are ok in the beginning but get pretty bad at half life. From what I hear

Their all seasons are not to bad so far, (yea I used them for the tail) they were not too bad on grip though very noisy when you put load on them, as you can hear in the beginning of the video here

I've had fk452s on the car more than any other tire. Also I've had ventus v12s quite often. Only thing I don't like about the falkens is that they're noisy and when they start to wear out, they're worthless in the rain.

But for that price range, fk452s are good tires.

Yeah traction in the rain is the most important thing to me. Thanks for confirming my decision for me

How much do they cost? I wouldn't know. What do you consider over priced?
