GREAT! Now we have 9 willing people to fill the role of the FGC BOD. By no means does this mean other people have to just sit by now. If you're reading this and want to run for the BOD, feel free to add your name to the list. I'd love to have more people willing to help. If we have more than 3 candidates in a district we'll simple have the candidates in that district put togehter a little write up about how they'd represent the FGC. We'd e-mail or PM everyone in their district the write ups, allow the people to read through the write up and then have an "election". Top 3 vote grabbers fill the slot for their district (kind of like a HOA voting process).
If no one else nominates themselves I still think we need to have an election, but the nominees would, by default, fill the Board.

i am willing to do sfl. i was all for a club and am trying to recruit people verbally everywhere i see a "G", i was the first to MAKE A sfl GTG. overall i have alot of great idea's for the club.

So the updated list looks like this...

2. Wes (Vice President) voted in by default

As of now there would be an election for each of the 3 chapters. If only 3 people run for the BOD in a district then they all 3 will make the BOD.
We'll meet with Jason and set up the election process on Feb. 5th along with finalizing the Articles of Incorporation and the club "bylaws" (which are despirately needed). Start getting your details together for the write up. Information that SHOULD be included in the write up is...
1. Your first and last name
2. Your age
3. Whether or not you own a G35 or plan on owning a G35.
4. Your occupation and highest level of education
5. Past experiences working with or running a BOD or similar pertainant experiences
6. Why you think that you'd make a good candidate
7. Why you want to be part of a corporation and donate 10+ hours of each week for NO MONEY!
...and other general information like that would be nice to know as well. I'll gather everyone's data and put it all in a MS Word document and e-mail it to all of the club members. The people will then be able to fill in their ballots, place a stamp on an envelope and mail the ballots back in. There will be a deadline as to when the ballots need to be post marked. (More details will follow once everything is finalized with Jason). It is important for eveyone to vote, even if there are only 3 people running for the BOD in your district. We need a minimum amount of a district to vote for the election to be legally valid.
