Absolutely. EVERYONE that runs for the BOD must receive a minimum number of votes (even if they run uncontested) in order to be elected to the BOD. If you're looking for what to put into your write up, here's a template...

So far, Chris and Russ from NFL have sent in their write ups. Wes and I are excluded since we started the club. And Finiti35 has sent hers in too.

If you're running for the BOD and haven't sent your write up in yet, you still have about 1 week to do so. After we meet up next Saturday to establish the bylaws, we'll soon thereafter begin sending out the election write ups and ballots. I'll want the election FINALIZED before the March 5th meet so that we can make a public announcement at the Lokey Meet as to who the elected Board of Directors are.

If you want to run, there is still time to nominate yourself. MiamiGsedan, how about it? It would be really nice to have someone in SFL with some prior BOD experience.

Perfect. I was hoping that you, of all people, would run for the BOD. I think you'd make a GREAT Director and would be a fantastic representative for either CFL or SFL! It just depends on how we break out the area by counties. More on that after the Saturday "bylaws" meeting.

 

Hey if Dade county counts as CFL I wanna run for the CFL position too, competition's getting tough in SFL Hope to see you on the 12th Mike!

1) I thought we already divided...
Between Brandenton and Ocala in CFL
2) Miami, Fl will be SFL no matter how we divide it, unless the keys get SFL and Miami is CFL which would make us NFL if thats the case russ will run for SFL

 

That was just for the website and to make a point that more people in (What I was calling) SFL needed to get involved in the club. In all acutality it worked and it worked well!

Also, we will be re-zoning the NFL, CFL and SFL areas this Saturday by county. This will make it much easier to word the bylaws (Jason and I have been discussing this in between car accidents - doh!).

More on that next week.
