yes it will work with the 05's. i installed one on a coupe and it worked perfect. the wire colors are still the same for the 05 coupe as the 03 and 04 coupes. i am not sure on the 05 sedans though. the wires changed between the 03 and 04 sedans. the only way to tell is to install one or look in the service manual.

do you have a coupe or sedan? where are you located at? if you are in florida and have a sedan i can prolly check it out for you if you are interested.

i still have a few left is you are interested in one. let me know

thanks

Dan or Kevin,

How do I disable the door lock function........I have locked my keys in the car while it was running twice today!

Edit: Had to have the wife come and open the car for me......One time I had to wait 1 1/2 hours.

sorry to hear

how did it happen? cause if you start the car and then open the door it unlocks. did you start teh car with the door open and then get out and shut it?

anyways to disable it if you cant read neffs scanned copy there. turn the ignition to on wait for the doors to lock and then within six seconds push the lock button three times.

I can't believe I jinxed myself. I accidentally locked myself out of the car tonight at the gas station. I realized what I did a split second after I closed the door. Not sure why, but it locked right after I closed the door (with the keys in the ignition) and not after 6 seconds like it normally does. I gotta turn that thing off.

Luckily I lived like 3 miles away and had my girlfriend bring my spare key.

That's why Infiniti made wallet keys. Hopefully, you won't leave your wallet in the car as well.

I had a clifford G5 alarm installed yesterday. This alarm locks the doors after I pass 3K rpms. So if I start my car with the door open and then get out, the doors won't lock until I drive off.

Nice. How much was that alarm? My old prelude had a clifford and it was awesome. I need to get another one pretty soon after I hook up my system.

Alarm was $349 plus $80 to be able to roll the windows up. It would have be $150 extra for the windows with out the window mod I bought from Dan at the meet. I don't have to use my factory remote....I can lock, unlock, roll windows up/down and open trunk with the alarm remote. Another nice feature is that my windows roll up when I arm the alarm. I don't have to hold the lock button down for a few seconds.
