Well we've narrowed it down to Northern South Florida. We're doing this because we know the SFL People would not like a Northern NFL meet and we're trying to attract as many people as possible.

If the Southern SFL people had to driver for 1-2 hours, that would be ok IMO since the Northern NFL people would have to drive for 6+...

Also the CFL crew had to drive up to 2.5 hours just for the Lokey Meet and no one complained about that except for Dabomb.

havent had time to read everything just got back home, I would suggest having a meet in Palm Beach or Broward County, its an hour drive from my house to Miami and think it would be a better distance for everyone

What's the chance of having an "all florida" meet in vegas?

Which lie should I point out first

it was an hour and forty five minutes TOPS and I was the most ecstatic drive ever for me...CAUSE I COULD DRIVE, LEGALLY!!

Anyways, from the drive I made today...Palm Beach County is one hour from Orlando...I think we need to go further south.

Holy speeding G's batman, that is 178 mph!

The state is alot smaller at that speed. Maybe we need to reconsider that Pensacola meet?

West Palm "area" would be a reasonable drive for us NE FL people. It will still suck for anyone in the panhandle though.

Maybe one thing we should figure out is should we have it at a dealership or a random location?

This is what im trying to say. If we were to meet, let's say at Markham Park ( where we usually meet ) its ~3hours from Tampa, ~2.5 from Orlando, ~4 Ocala, ~5 from Jacksonville, you can do the math from where ever else. Now if you wanted to have the meet down in South Miami, thats another hour for everyone to drive. Its also right off the interstates.

for the thousandth time to everyone...Lokey is our one and only dealership sponsor

Markham park seems to be a good place...we'll see what the SFL directors and rest of the BOD decide on

Just for the record, what you saw is the big PALM BAY sign in the grass on the right side of the road... that's like an hour away from Orlando.. lol.. From Orlando to the "Entering Palm Beach County" sign there are exactly 150 miles.. measured it last night

I guess you didn't time the drive home and then average the two trips...

BTW, you're still complaining about me "lying" so even the fact that you were complaining wasn't a lie.

I be glad to host a meet for you at my shop if you guys like. I have enough private parking for about 50 cars. We have a 42" widescreen TV and wireless internet service for those who have laptops. It would probably have to be a Sunday since we share the lot with the business next door because they close at 5 on weekdays and on 3pm on Saturdays. This way you have all the parking for yourselves. If someone wants to come by and see if the location is suitable for your meet that will be OK.

Dexter, thanks for the kind offer.

I personally will not schedule a meet on Sunday since many people like to celebrate their religious beliefs on that day (I'm one of them). Also, a 6+ hour drive for some members needs to be made on a Friday afternoon, stay in a hotel that night, go to a Saturday meet, then head back Saturday night or Sunday morning.

Saturday is the ONLY good day for an "All Florida Meet".
