FGC MEMBERS ONLY...

Where should the next All Florida Meet be held? The BOD is now discussing the location for the next "All Florida Meet" and we'd like to get your inputs. Even though we are not going to listen to your answers, if we happen to choose the same place as the majority of you at least you'll think you have a say...

 

i wouldn't mind an orlando area meet. but i'm up for driving pretty much anywhere in the G.

 

Orlando's sort of in the middle of everything, so I think there would be a great turnout over there, but I feel bad making all the SFL members drive too far again.

 

yes orlando would be good but we just had a CFL meet last weekend.

 

Orlando would be nice since I live there. There's already been talks about having the next meet in SFL. To be fair we need to make the next meet be in SFL. Then in NFL followed by Orlando for the Mega Meet.

On the other hand Hot Import Nights will be in Orlando on April 16th. So we can make the next meet sooner than what we we're planning and have the SFL meet in December when HIN goes to Miami. Hum decisions, decisions, decsions...

 

To be fair, I think it should be Miami or North Florida. That way things are spread around a bit.

 

A regional meet for HIN would be cool but I wouldn't want to do a statewide meet there.

 

the only thing that matters, is that we all remember to bring sunblock.......

 

id like to vote for orlando since its in the middle of the state and i live here. but then again...i feel bad for the SFL and NFL members having to drive so far.

 

How many people from jacksonville would make it all the way down to SFL? That's quite a hike. What's the difference between a "mega meet" and an "all florida meet"? Wouldn't they be the same?

 

CFL-Orlando has to do it bigger and better than the other divisions so we're having a mega meet. (mega meet/all Florida meet same thing just wanted to confuse you, it worked)

 

Orlando is centralized....but if we used that logic every meet would be here. SFL and NFL deserve "everyone" to drive to them once a year. The directors seem to be unanimous about having it in northern SFL (broward or north palm)

plus Todd and I need time off...i dont feel like working on another meet this soon

 

My vote is for the West Palm Beach area. It is south but not so far south that it is tough for the north Florida people to make it. It is more in the way of central south.

 

For the record G35Sean is a dork! There will be no "mega meets". We will have 3 or 4 "All Florida Meets" each year. Each of these meets will have "equal billing" by the club.

No one meet is any more important than any other meet!
