And whats up with the window mod, what exactly does it do and how much does it cost, installed.

Dan do you have the one that locks the doors upon starting the car and how much?

 

its the same mod....the roll-up mod does both

just dont start the car with the door open....im scared to activate it cause i know i'll lock my keys in the car and the one time i do my wallet will be in it too

 

Chaz, this mod is great. You can do several things with it...

(1) you can roll the windows up with the OEM remote (push the lock button once, wait for 1 sec and push it again)

(2) You can (at any time) program the OEM remote by pushing buttons to lock the doors ~5 seconds after the car starts (I like this feature) or you can reprogram this feature in about 5 seconds to not lock the doors. This is good for when you're getting service done to your car at Orlando Infiniti or Lokey Infiniti.

Also, there is a third mod (that I really need to get) that is the VDC module. This module is PERFECT for going to the track! With the stock set up (no VDC module) when you start the car the VDC is OFF all of the time. With the KP Tech. VDC module, if you turn on VDC with the car running then turn off the car, when you restart the car the VDC will still be on!

Basically when you're at the track you frequently turn your car on, move fwd 2 spots and then turn your car off so that your engine compartment doesn't get too hot. When doing this you have to remember to keep turning on the VDC (unless you have the KP Tech VDC module).

WARNING!!! It's extremely embarrassing to be at the staging lights, reach down and accidentally POP YOUR TRUNK while attempting to turn off VDC!!! At that point in time, you would much rather of had this module (I promise).
