Hey lay off shermie he is keeping the noob well skooled.
Thanks man.
I do not mind having to deal with the addons. Too me it see like making an airplane unstable intentionally and then building a system to control it a la F119 Stealth Fighter.
I'd prefer to install something that better fits with the OEM specs but eliminates a little of the height.
Having never dropped a car means I have a lot to learn becasue I want to do it right. I appreciate the help/guidance. Seems to me this really comes down knowing what results other folks have gotten out of the products they used.
I think I am going to buy the Htechs and run that route.
Anyone want a set of Eibach Pro?
100 bux or would trade and render cash for the htechs or some other engine mod. thnx

Noah, some gys are running stock coupe or stock Z springs to lower the sedan. Sport struts are recommended unless you already have them.
A couple of people have used coupe springs in the back and Z springs in the front for an additional drop to eliminate the larger fender opening up front. I have a set of Z springs and a set of coupe springs which I'm going to install some day.

hmm. I'd go that route for sure.
I really just want eliminate some of the fender opening like you said.
I have been follwing some stuff inthe sedan forum regarding the z springs but I was not aware of the z/coupe combo.
I do have the sport suspension on my sedan so all I really should need are those springs then.
I signed up for a my350z account today so I am going to puruse the site and looks for the springs to show up.

You will be able to find coupe and z springs pretty cheap. I got the coupe springs free (in addition to the set I replaced on my car) and I got the Z springs for $18 shipping. I also have the sport suspension, so we are both in good shape.

I kinda know how to do the rear springs. The Infiniti tech showed me. I have no idea how to do the front.
We could get together with someone that knows how to do it and have a spring swap day. I might even get new struts since mine are at 41K now.

Yeah, I'd show up for the swap day even if I do not get any work done on mine.
Audible Mayhem has offered his 03 z touring springs. I havesearched like crazy to find the spring rates and fitment info to no avail. Any of oyu know if these are on par with all the other 03 z springs?

yeah I was reading that one this morning. Everything stated looked like aftermarket stuff.
I'll scan it again. There is also a thread in the Sedan forum but no mention of the different versions of the z and their springs just the years are listed.
I posted in there hoping someone will pick it up.
seems like the htechs might need camber kit as well. Form what I have read any drops 1" or lower really push the suspension in to undesireable teritory.
I want to maintain as much stock feel and ride as possible without having to reinvent my suspension.
seems the z springs might be the best bet for this goal.
