Yup, that's why I need one. I cut mine, but I sorta messed up. I wanted it to be closer to the plenum, but I left too much space on one side so it looks retarded. I wanted to try it again. I'll trade my stock plenum for an engine cover.

Thanks for the offer but have a stock plenum sitting in the garage. I found an engine cover on Ebay a few days ago it sold for ~$61. It's rare you will find one on there. I would like to get one cheap to try the cutout. Let's see some pics when you do it.

No problem. Not sure if it's worth $60 to make another attempt. The hardest part of the cutout is marking where it needs to be cut. The cutting itself was pretty easy with a dremel though. If i do try it again, i'll cut it and leave a lot of room then I'll go back and forth shaving off as needed. I could post pics of what I have now just to give you an idea of what it would look like, but it won't look that great with the space i have.

The trick is to cut it long and then widdle away until you creep up on the exact fit you're looking for.

I'd give you mine, but I sold it for $50.00 about 8 months back.

You can go ahead and buy it. I'm afraid of messing it up again. If someone wants to sell theirs for $40 in tampa, I'll come pick it up. Miami is too far for me to pick up or else I'll probably buy it for $50.

Anyone want to buy the top half of the stock engine cover?

Steve

Good call I didn't see it was Miami. If Gman2004 still has it around the time of the FGC meet I'll probably buy it.

Too bad there's no electricity at the park. We could've tried to do it there - unless someone has an AC to DC converter (or is it DC to AC)?

if you wanna connected it to the 12v outlet in your car then you need a DC to AC converter.
