I'm waiting for the PAC unit to be compatible with the '05 and then I'm doing a complete install as well. Been waiting for a long time but Infiniti decided to tinker with the audio / video setup for the 05's

 

hmm I heard the 05 requires you to cut three wires now instead of one. I am leaning towards the AV unit as I want to add in xbox

Welcome to the club (albeit a little early)... If you attend one of our meets that Russ (meatshackle) attends, he might be a good brain to tap. He knows more about this kind of stuff than most. I recommend that you bring a tape recorder and just record the conversation. This way when you actually try to do the work yourself you'll be able to play it over and over.

The G35 mod involves that you cut 4 wires and splice in. There is no plug and play for this car because it does not use standard nissian, infinity connectors.
The mod has 2 inputs 1 for DVD and 1 for backup camera. The unit auto switches to backup camera when you put the car in reverse. Yes the Mod works on the 05 G35 and 06 M35. The RGB mod is $200. If you want to check out our service and quality you can go to
