Trojan Horse Virus
Does anyone know how to get rid of these damn Trojan Horse Downloader.Agent.11.Q and Trojan Horse Downloader.Agent.12.d viruses? They are driving me crazy and AVG will not clean them up for whatever reason. I have the latest updates for AVG by the way. HELP PLEASE!!!!

AVG scans and doesn't pick it up but everytime I open Internet Explorer I get slammed with notices about the viruses. I manually move them to the virus vault and delete them but it doesn't do any good they keep coming back.
Save your important stuff on a separate media then.........
REFORMAT your drive and start from scratch. WARNING.....
when you reformat you lose everything, but it is kinda like getting a new computer.
Oh yeah! Avoid **** sites and things of that nature. They are loaded with all sorts of stuff.

I was trying to avoid reformatting my hard drive but it looks like I may have to. Guess what I'll be doing this weekend. Thanks for the tips. If anyone else has anything to add please let me know.
USE NORTON ANTI VIRUS AND NORTON PERSONAL FIREWALL... the only way i got a virus was when i downloaded a program then installed it... now i just scan any and every file i download... since then, no viruses...

I appreciate it. I'm still hoping I can get rid of these viruses without reformatting. The funny thing is I didn't download a file. It happened when I did a search through google and clicked on a link.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run
and remove anything that you think may be a virus. After removing the virus entries, restart computer and try to let AVG clean it. If that doesn't work, i guess reformat =( Sorry man.
