482 whp G35 in Orlando area???

So a friend of mine from work just starting taking classes at UTI on Monday. Yesterday, he was telling me how he was sitting in class and heard some car dynoing...he said it sounded like it was forced induction. So he took a restroom break and walked over to where they were dynoing the car. My friend then goes on to tell me it was a Diamond Graphite coupe (Automatic) with a GReddy Twin Turbo kit and some other goodies on it. The results were 482 whp!!! I was like "OMG, I can't believe!" Would this happen to be anyone on the boards?

For that kind of horsepower the person would have to be at or above 10psi with a good tune. The engine will be, if it isn't already, completely toast without the proper forged internal components and accessories. We all saw a 400rwhp/400tq Greddy TT on a 350z at our first dyno day... the engine blew up on the way home.

If you do the math this car is making 565-600 hp at the crank. It's got to boost at 20 or more psi! The VQ is going to NEED a lot and I do mean A LOT of internal work!!!

Naah, only 10psi. Rich is a member of the FGC, he lives near tampa and he's pushing in the neighborhood of ~450-480 rwhp with just shy of 10psi and he's got beefed up internals. Another guy in SFL is doing the same, but just not anyone that I know in CFL as of yet. djniknala will be in that hp/tq neighborhood in the next 4-6 months if all goes well with his engine build up and his GReddy TT. Fortunately for me, he's gonna let me watch them do his engine machine work!!! YIPPIEE!!!

Wow! This car is amazing! That car could be the one. I remember my friend saying it was silver...but I think he might have said the body was stock.

On another note, I had a friendly run in with a nice C5 Corvette with exhaust last night. Since then, I can't stop thinking about forced induction .
