Been looking around lately, and I'm attempting to fit the stock grill in the TS bumper opening.. again so far it turned out well, but I need to get it refinished because its completely scratched up.

Can we treat it like any other painted piece? Maybe sand it down and polishing it might work? It seems like they have some sort of clear coat that darkens the chrome that has been scratched through. No sure what my options on refinishing it are, any ideas? cost guesses?
