where do you live?? maybe i can take a look at it. If not, then i suggest you send it into escort and while its there you might as well get it upgraded with the new POP technology

Here is the secret:

Call Valentine Research at 1 800 331 3030 and ask for a returned V1 and get 10% off the $399 retail price. Do not buy a V1 from a pawn shop, a car forum, or Ebay because you are asking for trouble. You will end up with an old V1 that is stolen and doesn't work.
