Still no power, no A/C, no telephone lines, no traffic lights working around Hollywood/Aventura, my G got a few scratches from a huge palm leaf that landed on my roof while I was driving home, other than that..

I'm moving.....

Finiti35 - I'm sorry to hear that your roof got scratched in the hurricane. Hopefully the scratches can be buffed out and won't show. Thankfully you survived and are in good shape.

You never realize how much you depend on electricity until you spend a few days without it.

Hurricanes are evil beasts...

Take care...

I survived the hurricane with no damage or flooding. I even had power the whole time. The only thing I lost was my internet connection for a few hours. Flooding was pretty bad but it only made it half way into my gargage....by morning it had receded back to the street. I was pretty lucky. I hope every was else was as lucky as me.

Finiti,

Sorry to hear about your damage and that you have no power.

after three cat 3+ storms last year and no power loss, this puny cat 1 took out our power last night around 8 or so, luckily it was back up arond 1230 today. couldve been worse, im happy.

and yes, the pay and pending opportunites with this company definitely warrant the 55 mi drive to work each way

I only went out to do some donuts in the rain

J/k, I hope the scratches can be buffed out, they're on the door and A-pillar..

100% OK here. No flooding (and I live on a lake), no power loss, lost Comcast cable and internet for a few hours yesterday am and that's it . . . but I live on the north side of town which was spared compared to the south.

Of course the garage always helps with protecting the cars.
