I made sure I bought gas 3 nights ago becuase I heard gas prices were going to sore. I payed $2.89 for 93. The next day, it was $3.09. Now it is $3.19. I'm going to need to fill up early next week....by then, it could be over $4.00 a gallon. So much for having mod money

First my A/F ratio has gone out of whack and now gas prices are skyrocketing. I'm really trying not to play with the power of my car now.

I feel bad for any of those who own those rotary powered Rx-8's. I've heard they only get an average of 14mpg or less. And I thought my gas mileage was bad for my car...sheesh...

basically this is what happens... we had this talk in my economics class...

The prices are gonna keep going up until the suplly and price can meet an equalibrium price... That won't be achived until there is a surplus of gasoline... So basically, it will go up, until people will stop driving as much and begin to carpool, take the bus, etc etc... Then the prices will slowly go down... When will they go down? Prob not till Dec or early next year...

From CNN.com

VENEZUELA: President Hugo Chavez, a vocal critic of the United States, offered to send cheap fuel. (which has more oil then all of the Arab countries combined)

SPAIN: Expects to receive a formal request to release gasoline stocks to the United States and is prepared to grant it, an Industry Ministry spokesman said.

Germany: is ready and willing to "dip into its own emergency oil reserves" to release some 2 million barrels a day for 30 days.
