Are you kidding? We showed up at 9pm and there were like 30 people there. I got in 5 runs in 1 hour and actually sat out one run just to ice down the plenum for ~5 minutes.

With my new tires that had ~25 miles on them, at ~39 psi cold (42 psi hot), on a 81 degree night with humidity of ~95%, no time between runs to deal with intercooler heat soak, having to shift into 5th gear at the very end of the run, (can't think of any more excuses... )

My 2 best runs were:

R/T - .191 - - - .077
60" - 2.250 - - - 2.154
330 - 5.986 - - - 5.894
1/8 - 8.948 - - - 8.875
MPH - 84.41 - - -84.26
1000 -11.460- - -11.42
1/4 -13.545 - - - 13.521
MPH - 109.06 - - 107.21

A couple of the guys who were regulars there said I should be hitting the 12.9 to 13.1 range with 109 mph times. I was really having a hard time getting going. Wheel spin out of the wazoooooooo! Anyone else want to post up any times?

nice man, yeah i figured you were going to have a lot of wheel spin, i was riding around in alans car last night, pretty crazy, we will all have to go back out next friday, you should invest in some drag radials at the least on some light *** rims for next week.... 109 is a nice mile an hour, they are right though that is high 12's with good traction

13.5 is very impressive with street tires!

Congratulations!

Unfortunately what makes a cool street wheel and tire makes a poor drag racing wheel and tire. You might want to hunt up a set of smaller diameter wheels that will give you more sidewall... maybe borrow a set of drag radials for a night or so... Running 109 in the lights... you might be surprised at your ET...

...and you will LOVE the starting line...

Congrats Todd, those are some great times considering the weather! Jason, feeling jealous yet?

I can't wait to see what times you'll be running on a 60F night. Can you say M3 beater

As soon as I get mt high EGT temp problem solved...I'll be out there. Got a date with coastal dyno to fix the problem. (I may have to add some fuel to cool it down which means less whp. I'm still eyeing that vavle body upgrade too. Also....would be nice to get those volks and get some wider tires in the rear.

I was rather disappointed last night with my times and my driving. My first 2 runs, I missed 2nd. I couldn't launch very well at all (My only excuse is I was racing with my T1-S tires for the first time). Plus, I ran 3 times in a row with no break at all. So my excuse of heat soak comes into play here. I'm hoping next time I go out, the weather will be cooler and I can lower my PSI to about 27 and launch better. It's all about the launch.

My best run:
R/T - .132
60" - 2.277
330 - 6.285
1/8 - 9.552
MPH - 76.21
1000 -12.33
1/4 -14.67
MPH - 96.44

I'm hoping to hit the very low 13 range with a few more 'mods'. Removing the child seats, removing my tools from the trunk, removing the spare and jack, better tire grip, better launching techniques, etc...

We definitely need to go out again soon. Ryan and I had a blast.

Also, I was thinking. Ryan usually runs 14.4's and last night he ran 14.6 as a best run. I wonder if temp and humidity were taking a few tenths away from everyones times?
