Man I'm pissed! Getting shafted by FA...

Here's the link... http://forums.freshalloy.com/ubbthre...b=5&o=&fpart=1

And just incase the 'ever so friendly' moderators on FA delete my post, here's what it says:

I just received a PM from an 'unnamed' Moderator asking me to remove the link to the Florida G35 Club in my signature below.

The Florida G35 Club is a legal, not for Profit Corporation that is an INFINITI G35 car club comprised of mostly INFINITI G35 Coupes in the state of Florida.

We have some MAJOR SPONSORS like Crawfordzcar, KP Technologies, Bluebatmobile, Lokey Infiniti, ISI Clearbra installers, Boosted Concepts, Perfection Auto Detailing, Creative Carz, Zaino, Data Hosting Solutions, Permagraphics, and I'm presently working out a deal with IAP Direct.

I rarely post on FA any more due to the heavy handed moderating, the waning post count and the all but dead SE Forum but figured that since I just received a nice PM telling me I could bump my sig. up to 500 characters I thought I'd stop back by and see how many of my mods I could squeeze into 500 characters (BTW, 500 isn't enough guys  )

I have had the link to the Florida G35 Club in my signature here on FA since December 2004 and I frequently stop by just to update the club member count incase someone scrolls by one of my posts. Well after updating my mod list in my sig, all of a sudden I get a friendly PM asking me to remove the link to the club website.

What gives? Is this right or fair? Am I breaking any posting rules on FA? Is FA really trying to make people choose between G35driver and Fresh Alloy (Oh no, I said 'driver' in the body of a post  ).

Come on people. There are several interesting 350z and G35 internet forums. To think you can make people only read one forum is absurd.

Does anyone else feel that my sig should be removed? (I wonder if the mods/admins will even let this post live?)
I guess Fresh Alloy doesn't want anything to do with the FGC. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out.

This is ridiculous, it's not like you linked G35driver in your sig, and even if you did, what's the big deal? Driver is heavily moderated too, but Dan for example had (and maybe still has) a link to frenzy in his sig and no one said a word about it for the longest time.

Or is it that Grubbs is afraid of Lokey?

You guys are silly. Grubbs is no longer a sponsor on FA and they are now a BIG NAME SPONSOR on driver.

LOL!

You got me there... :scratches ones head:

Those weak moderators/admins deleted my post. Oh well, one less person to support the Fresh Alloy crew.

I'm off to the off topic forum to share my saga with the rest of the world...

And to think a bunch of us here had to convince you to start reading and posting here instead of there back in the day.

Well, that is the first time I have visited FA in about 6 months. After spending about 30 seconds there, I quickly remembered why I don't go back. Thanks for the reminder Neff!

It is here or my350z.

Yeah I used to love FA, but the mods there just got delete happy. That board is over-moderated, something I hope doesn't happen here.

Naah, it won't happen here. Kyle, Geo, Marlin, Colin and the other admins definitley have a firm grasp on the situation.

For the record: I've decided to abandon FA all together. Simply not worth my time to deal with all of the "holier than thou" attitudes some of the mods/admins have. I made the same decision about 6 months ago with 6mt.net and G35Frenzy and I haven't posted on either site since.
