I was due to give presentations this week for a users conference but we cancelled it due to the hurricane. I am bummed that I did not get to deliver my material but glad as h3|| I did not have to wear the suits this week plus I do not have to meet and greet any disgruntled end loosers... I mean users
Shorts and sweatshirt indeed.

you can write "hell" on our forums, it's not an official swear word anymore.
glad the hurricane downgraded a bit before terrorizing our little phalic symbol of a state...

No damage to my house, but like most down here I have no power. I went to Home Depot yesterday at 4AM camped out side until they opened at 7:30.....I got a Generator!
I have internet access at work, but I can't recieve email cause the server I am on is at a different location that does not have power.
On a side note I think I blew a head gasket on my car.
As soon as the power comes back up I will take the car to the shop and do a compression/lead down test, and have the radiator pressure tested. If it is something major I am going to fix the problem, and after the car is running fine again, I might put it up for sale.
It don't bother me fixing it as much as it bother my wife. This car is putting a serious strain on my marriage, so I am looking into a family car that has 4 doors.....GS 300.
I think my modding days are almost over.

You modding days wouldn't have to be over.So you see, my modding days are almost over. Let's see what's wrong with my car. Hopefully nothing major so I can keep it. I am also considering a Range Rover Sport, non supercharged, or I would be tempted to start fuggin with the motor.
If you must save the marriage, get an M5. If the newer ones are out yet, they have 500 bhp and useable back seats.
I think that the head gasket going is a rather common occurance when running high boost. If you scale the boost back to ~12psi you should be fine. I bet you blew it at/near 15psi, no?
BTW, fixing the head gasket is rather simple from what I've been told.

Give Doug at Crawfordzcar a call and tell him what happened to you. Ask him if he knows of any other people this has happened to.
Trust me, call Doug.
When you call Doug, introduce yourself as a FGC Member. Tell him what you've done w/ your car and tell him what happened. His insight might just surprise you (and maybe even **** you off a little bit).
At least you'll know the root cause of your problem and you'll know how to fix it...
Would you just do this for me, please???????

Jorge, do you have ARP head bolts? Did you retighten them after 1000 miles? My guess would be that you have them and you didn't have them retightened. Is this guess correct?
