Hey Jon,
Just wanted to thank you for the awesome job you did on the car. It was kinda dark when I got home, but I could still see the shine. There was more bling coming off the car then a damn rappers neck.
I saw the pictures my wife took and it looks great, but I can't wait till the morning when the sun rises.

Slight bump for a great thread...
Jon, I looked through the Customer Gallery on your web site and all the cars are gorgeous... truly beautiful... you are very skilled.
One thing I noticed is that almost every car there used Zymol. It seemed like all of the high end Porsches used Zymol.
I'm not going to ask which is best, Zymol or Zaino... I don't want to start a flame war... But I am curious as to what differences you see between the two products.

Thank you very much - I still need to get a few of your pictures up for the thread along with a few others.

The differences between the two are discussed at length, and I mean at LENGTH, on sites like autopia car care and other detailing forums. The key difference being between a sealant type "wax" vs. a carnuba "wax" if you want to research the topic more.
I choose to carry both to accomodate the varied preferences of my clients. Also not every car is right for Zaino. Cars with a little more "wear and tear" many times benefit from the carnuba's, especially the Zymol Cleaner Wax I use that has a little bit more "muscle" behind it. Offering these varied products allows me to cater to the needs of each vehicle AND save the client money by carrying what the car needs, not trying to make the ONLY thing I carry work for every car.
Its like making a round peg fit into a square hole. Sometimes Zaino just isn't the right choice and I'll be the first to tell you that about your car. IMO Its better that I am honest and help you accurately evaluate your cars finish, then try and get a couple extra bucks and use a product thats just going to cause me aggrevation b/c its ultimately not the right choice.
Also, I'll also be the first to admit when a car is beyond my help. Using the right tool for the job is key. Sometimes I am not the right tool and I am more interested in helping you get the car right and then maintaining that. That's probably why 95% of the cars I work on are newer or have been very well maintained by their owners.
Thanks for the opportunity to elaborate a little on my approach to my work!
Jon
(p.s. for tolerating all that I'll get some more pictures up!)

Land Rover Discovery

Renntech E60 and Renntech ML60 - Zaino's
Both cars start off with the stock 4.3L V8 and is taken out to 6.0L, suspension, brakes, exterior mods all done by Renntech (Mercedes tuner). The owner told me his ML60 was tested by Road and Track years ago when it was first being sold. There was a story too about his E60 but I can't remember now LOL - very cool cars!
