+4 the transfer is not a problem. The problem is Finiti needs to pony up and buy the computer.

Maybe we should all chip in a little...

It looks like that's the only way we're going to see any pictures of her alleged M* vehicle...

Double You Tee Eff?? I have 3 computers sitting in my room, one of which my friend gave to me. I've just been too busy to plug it in, set up my internet connection, download all the programs I'm going to use... I'm just hardly ever home or online for that matter. So you're saying that if I got a Dell I could always set up my old HD as a slave no matter what model I get?

Never, I didn't like posting pics of my G, I'm not going to post pics of said M either. Especially stock. Look at the 3 pics I recently posted of that supercharged Carbon black M3 on HREs, it's the sickest M3 I have ever seen and ridden in

No need for me to see normal BMWs.

I thought it would be nice to see pictures of your new car. Can we safely assume it is some shade of blue???

...and yes, you can slave your old hard disk to any computer... assuming it still works...

Haha if I posted the story once again for the 100th time it will be the greatest repost in the history of g35driver. Yes, more G.. I am still a director of the Florida G35 Club and I'm surrounded by Gs all the time, so I vicariously still have one. No pictures of the M, if you want to see it there will be a Towers meet thread for next Friday, check back for the details...

well I picked up my new rig on Sunday and all I can say is WOW. This thing is a rocket. The guys who put it together were benchmarking it and said it had one of the highest scores they had ever seen. At one point it was rendering over 900 frames per second....... Kind of like F1 for a computer

900frames/second?? thats a bit overkill bout 750+ of those are repeat frames but impressive nonetheless. Hopefully soon games will start taking advantage of the dual video card setup instead of being impeded by it.

new puter

I know huh. The other benchmark was over 30,000 points. I need 64 bit just to fully address the 4gb of ddr2 675mhz memory I have as well. Ok enough geek talk for now

900 frames per second sounds high for any game.

The reason you want high frame rates is when playing online... lag is critical... it can get you killed... If you're in a game with 15 or 20 people and everyone is running around a map firing rockets that explode everywhere... you can use up a lot of framerate... more frame rate is always better!
