South Florida Tech/Mod Day - January 15
I have a D70 and I know that there are filters out there that fit the stock D70 lens to give "stars" to all reflective areas. I thought about getting one, but didn't think I'd have much use for it.
Whenever shooting, I either use a simple UV filter, a circular polarizer, or a "sky light" filter.

I've never been much for trick filters or obvious Photoshop filters, but thare are tons of them out there. I found a Photoshop star-flare brush for free on Adobe's Studio Exchange during lunch today. You can tell that it's not real, but it does create a pleasing effect. Nice that someone created it and uploaded it for free download.

It was great meeting you as well. And yes, my uncle (Jorge) has been doing this for a long time, and he knows his s#it.

I will talk to my buddy about having a G35 dyno day ....it will probably be $40 3 pulls + a/f (dynojet).... ill keep you guys updated ... or ill let one of the S.Fl BODs know so they can set it up ....

1) set up a date: are Fridays or Saturdays better to run at Moroso? Less crowded maybe?
2) think of a place where we can all meet and caravan up. 2 of the directors happen to live on the same street which happens to be very close to the Turnpike, so that kinda predetermines the meeting point and route
3) what time would the caravan meet at? What time do the gates open?
4) inform attendees of track dress code, etc (so that nobody gets sent off like Austin did once... haha)
I'd love to run my car but that would be impossible on the tires I have right now. So I guess I'll be the official caravan picture taker and video operator again.. but Pablo has been officially delegated the honor of making this happen
