I'd save my bullets until they did something drastic that I didn't like...

...and I'd start going to Lokey...

Don't you wonder why Chuckiii and Wes drive over from Orlando to have Lokey work on their Gees?

Other dealers are probably good enough for normal owners... If you're particular about your car, and you seem to be, then I'd recommend Lokey... just my 2¢ worth...

I am very happy to report that the dealer, Infiniti of Tampa, exceeded my expectations in resolving this matter. The Service Advisor, Service Manager and Customer Satisfaction Manager we all very Professional and did not have to search any further than their recollection of the walk around and the note they made.

They could not have been any more apologetic or accommodating. I think this might had served as a good wake up call for the folks in charge of the techs and responsible for the oversight of the work. Not everyone obsesses over thier vehicle and I think those of us that do serve as the QA Team for the owners that do not.

BTW the wind roar sound from the back window is gone now. Now I can hear the wind going over the car. The car is notibly quiter now.

Yeah they were pretty hot about the guy not doing the owrk and promissed he would never be assigned to my car agian.

My guess is that the guy prolly went on a smoke break for two hours or so.

The SA road tested my car for the wind roar that eminated from back right half window. Funny how the tech could not confirm or duplicate such an obvious sound. Hell at 55 the sound was so loud I thought the window wa down.

I would hit the window switch frequently just out of relfex and I would frequently look over my shoulder to see if it was.

After all of that nonsense the SA confided in me that the problem was well known.

I think it is Jack and Coke time.

Have a pleasant weekend.

I would go to the dealership late at night and take a poop on the hood of all thier cars.

Glad to see it resolved.

What did they do to fix the noise problem?

That's got to be, ummm pretty effortsome no? Just buy a few cartons of jumbo eggs and then trick or treat the dealer.... lol. Maybe some pyro effects would be nice too.

Directional rotation is when they remove the tires from the wheels and reinstall the tires on the wheel on the opposite side of the car). This is how you 'rotate' the tires on a coupe.
Ok, for one thing look at the bottom of every one of his post and you'll see he has a sedan, and a directional rotation is when the tire stays on the SAME side of the car, hence keeping the direction of the tire the same, but since the tires on the on the sedan with sport package should all be 235/45/18 and notdirectional. they would have crossed the front tires and moved them back and the back would of went straight forward, if they did it properely, or they could have just swapped front to rear or left to right, and even if you directionally rotated the tires like on the coupe you would still, in order to do it properly, would be moving the RR to the LR, flipping the tire on the rim, since the coupes are directional and postional, to keep the direction for that side of the car. So...there is no way the RR damaged tire could still be on the RR if they did any sort of rotation.
