Well I just got my car back today from Infinity of Tampa; I had it in for the 7500 mile service and to have some nuisance noise taken care of.
First they "could not confirm the noises during thier testing. Speaker rattle and such.
Second they 7500 mile service requires tire rotation and I have photographic proof that they did not perform the serive. The SA during the walk through on my car performed prior to turn over notedly asked my how detailed I was and I answered "very" at which time he noted the road rash on the right rear tire.
Third I asked them not to screw with the air pressure becasue I have nitrogen in the tires. I specifically asked them if they used nitrogen to which the SA answered no so I instructed them not to tool with the tire pressure. To my dismay clearly noted on the service slip is adjusted tire pressure.
Fourth I was charged for a drain washer which I am sure they lost becasue I know for a fact I have not been under the car.
Tomorrow they get called out on the decks about this matter and it willbe don in person. My laptop with photos will be in attedance as will a very intolerante personality.
My questions to you all are:
Should I give them the opportunity to explain and refund or pursue some public mean of recourse such as filing a complaint with the BBB, reporting to a local news agency or litigation?
Should ask him the SA to confirm that they did this or just flat out blast em wit the accusations?

Litigation? Sounds like a bad idea with little in the way of damages...
I'm assuming you have a sedan or are running the same size tires with the whole tire rotation issue...
As far as the other stuff, sometimes being overly aggressive may not get you very far. If you truly have your evidence, ask for the service manager and tell him of your reservations over your service visit. If blown off, show him your proof...
Good luck with whatever happens...

Think Nissan Corporate would give a crap. I doubt they will based on experiences of other folks and a few of my own.
I am trying hard to not believe this is a systemic problem there. But if these guys can disqualify my all of legitimate concerns that I know are well documented and do happens without fail ... then charge me for work that was not performed I can't do anything but come to that conclusion.

I am sure cooler heads will prevail but I sincerly hope they do not make me have to submit my proof because I am sure to loose it quickly.
Thanks for the response and the well wishes.
Hey not familiar with the sedan tire issue... you have a thread you can point me to? I was just in for scheduled service, the 7500 mile deal, and have not noticed any unusual tire wear... Yet.

I am at some tough crossroads here. I know fully appreciate the value of maintaining a relationship with the factory service department becasue I keep my cars typically well over 130k miles. It is a little mre costly but the patronag has paid off for me in the past with another lux vehicle I had.
I know the club has a relatioship with another area dealer which I am confident would be a little more cogent of my patronage and thusly more pay more attention to detail.
I know what the dealers are up against with getting their claims paid by the manufacurer and how they can be penalized for carrying out what the manufacurer cinsiders too much warranty work. Often the dealers have to settled on already low rates on top of reduced billable hours for warranty work.
I mature enoough to know that taking my car in for a problem that doesn't exist isn't going benefit anyone. I would not have taken my car in if I did not have the problems I reported to them. To have my problem discharged when I know with 1000% certainty that they are real and to be billed for work not conducted makes me question their methods used to confirm/deny the claims. Further I can't help but question their business practices, integrity and commitment to supporting the product they sell.
My wifes 3.5 SE altima has been 100% dealer maintained my Linolns we 100% dealer maintained and I had every intention of having my G 100% dealer maintained... only question now is which dealer will I be going to with my revenue generating and warranty backed business.
Should of went to LOKEYlesson learned

Care to share with us the type of car you have (sedan or coupe) and what your 'exact' photo proof is? If you have proof that the right rear wheel is damaged and that damage is still on the right rear after the 'rotation', that does not necessarily mean that the tires were not directionally rotated.
Directional rotation is when they remove the tires from the wheels and reinstall the tires on the wheel on the opposite side of the car). This is how you 'rotate' the tires on a coupe.

^^ That is correct, btw Foo G has a sedan it says it right there in his sig. I'm sorry about your bad experience, but in my opinion G35 owners are a little 'spoiled' when it comes to their expectations from their Infiniti dealer. You really need to go through the hell of dealing with a bmw service dept/body shop to know what a real bad experience is, I should know. If my bmw dealer did as 'bad' as your Infiniti dealer, I'd seriously give them a 5.
Yeah seems like the only thing they did wrong was adjust tire pressure which is like washing the cars. They do it to almost every car so sometimes the tech doesnt even notice the note telling him "not" to do it.
