Get new wheels?

I'm just testing the waters here a bit. I was thinking about getting some different wheels, but I would need to sell mine first. Mine are Volk SF Challenges in mercury silver, 19x8.5 +21 and 19x9.5 +23. I am contemplating getting Volk SF Challenges in gold, same size up front but 10.5 in the rear. First of all, what do you guys think about switching wheels for my IP coupe? Secondly, would anyone be interested in mine for around $1,500 (no tires)?

My camera is being uncooperative right now, so I can't post pics right now.

This PAGE has pics of both color wheels on my color car, so which ones do you guys/gals think looks better?

Gold looks nice on a IP G, but don't do it on the same wheel. I would get something different and more unique this time... like Work VS-XX (one of my favorite wheels) or maybe even Volk GT-Vs. I'd look into DPEs also in the same price range. Gunmetal or bronze would look nice also. And don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved the Challenges when people first started putting them on coupes, but I'm just not a fan of cookie cutter cars

I would be buying the Gold SFs off a friend's Z, so I'm not really looking at any other wheels right now, since I don't actually need or was even thinking about them untill he said he wants to sell his. I originally got my wheels almost as soon as they came out, I don't even think they had the 19x10.5s back then, but yeah they are pretty "common" now, thats why I was thinking about possibly changing colors at least. Silver seems more classy while the gold looks more flashy, but I like both.

You are absolutly correct gold does look more flashy, i also have Sf challenge gunmetal with 8.5 front/ 10.5 rear i love it but, sometimes once in a while i do regret maybe i should have gone with gold.

take your time picking out rims. Take a pic of your car side ways use photoshop to place the rims u like and then decide. Is your decision based on looks or the weight, and or price?

Go with the Gold. It looks real nice on that color. Just look at Josh's(Pimpinpearl) car. Nuff said.

One word: C20s. Sickest HREs ever, you can get them in gold too. I wish someone would put these wheels on a G35.
