Lokey Mini-Meet Pictures, January 21, 2006
We had a good turnout for the Lokey MiniMeet today. Chuck, Ian, and Wes came over from Orlando... Dan, Jason, and Todd came over from Tampa, Rich came up from Sarasota, and Bill and I drove up from St. Petersburg. I saw Kyle there for a second, but I'm not sure what happened to him.
Dan wanted to get his car serviced, and his car was extra clean, so he positioned his "Posse" around the car to protect it. As you can see, the posse did a great job... no one messed with Dan's car.
Oh... Wait a second... marks are appearing on Dan's car... How could that happen... who could have done it... stay tuned.
Rich drove up from Sarasota with his beautiful Greedy TT G.
Ian has in fact got his new headers on! In addition to that, Ian was nice enough to give me a ride in his car going to lunch and let me drive it back to Lokey! Very nice... The headers, coupled with the plenum and exhaust, is a great set of complimentary mods... and it sounds pretty neat too.
We carpooled to Smokey Bones for lunch. Here are the usual suspects: Rich, Dan, Ian, John, Wes, Bill, Todd, Chuck, and Jason.
Chuck had a few secret mods performed along with some suspension work to help correct his camber. Here, his car is on Lokey's alignment rack. I'm not an expert on alignment racks, but this looks like the King of all racks to me... digital readouts and all.
Here's a closeup of the wheel mount.
And here's a ultra closeup that shows that the wheel itseld is protected from scratching because the little metal fingers actually wrap around the edge of the wheel. Not a mark was left...
The new rear camber arms.
And a shot Ian took that shows the entire exhaust system under the car.
What a fun day... A great time was had by all... And now I have to go... Time for the Peabody's Pool Mini-Meet... Will there be pictures?
Stay tuned...

Peabody's is a Pool Hall across the street from Dan's condo. It's about a stones throw from the USF campus in Tampa. I didn't end up taking any pictures last night at Peabody's, but it was nice to meet Kevin Pierson of http://www.kptechnologies.com/ fame. Had fun chatting... make sure you take it easy in your Dad's big-block Pontiac.

I didn't get any more information about that shoot. I have never seen the guy that took those videos since the original meet.
