Did somebody call me a troll? Don't you think that's a little harsh for someone who's just starting to look into getting a bike. Its not like I'm stupid enough to go try something to kill myself. Its not like I'm 16 either, I'm just looking for something fun, fit's to my tastes, has room for growth as I improve, gives me something to use as a ride from point a to b when my car has downtime, and is more affordable than a civic or some other beater. And no I'm not stupid enough to take the bike on the road without actually being legal and taking the class. Geezz...

 

I'm glad to see you went with a conservative bike to start out.

 

I don't think anyone's accusing you or being irresponsible just concerned for your safety. Some of us have years of experience and know what it's like starting out. Keep us posted when you get a bike.

on the motorcycle forums we get stuff like this all the time.

If you buy a used beginners bike you will be able to sell it after a year for close to what you paid for it. you can look back on your mistakes and realize that on an R6 it could have been more painfull or worse.

Sorry, just did bad on a test this morning... I get what you guys are saying... You know what tho? Haha, those tiny bikes are cool as hell. There's like a little crew of little kids in my gf's neighborhood that all have one, I wish I had one when I was like 10, that would be pimp riding one of those to the 5th grade instead of having to pedal my way to school...
