If you don't want the CF look and the CF is layed nicely, maybe you can sell it and make enough to get an OEM with some change. It seems a shame to paint any CF part that was done properly. Now if the CF doesn't look like it was done well, then paint it.

Um, IMuHO, unless your car is gutted and you have racing seats and harnesses and such, the CF look on a G just seems lost to me...

Unless it's a black G. I like carbon fiber on black cars...

I was thinking if I were to keep it unpainted I'd have to go something like this. And since I have the same bumper and same color car, my car would look exactly like this..... don't know what to do, since it does seem like a real waste to paint a cf hood....

Don't get me wrong, I like it too, but it just seems to fit more with a Subaru/Honda Civic-Prelude/Acura Integra-RSX-NSX/Z/Supra/Evo/Skyline than a G...

I like Dan's idea. If you've seen hoods like that it's pretty cool. If not paint it.

I don't have any pics but if Richard can do it ask for pics of his work. He may have some.

I like it when there is some smooth paint line on the hood but some CF showing. That is how I am going to do my Stillen hood, some kind of U-shape line with the area under the curve being painted and the area above CF.

It's a repost, but it's a nicely done, different way to painf a CF hood.

Exactly, do a thin layer of DG so that the weave shows underneath. It would look SICK! Unpainted would be ricey on your color..
