OT: Hurricane Shutters...How much you pay??

ive gotten a few estimates and the best one so far is for $5200 for 13 windows (336 sq ft)

$5200 for accordian shutters includes taxes, permits and a 5 year warrenty.
its from this website...http://www.florida-shutters.com

is that a good price??

thanks for the replies

I'm not sure what is a good price these days because of the supply/demand. My neighbor paid about $400 per window (various sizes) for Bahamas style shutters which are pretty common here on old houses in the Cocoa Beach area. They ordered them last year around April and finally received them in December. I don't remember the name of the company, but it was shipped from Pensacola.

hey I would like to see what you got as far as brochures from the company. They are super easy to install . if you are coming to the lokey meet bring a bunch of pictures of your windows and frames and stucco.. ect . I have a guy that I front his product . I would gladly wholesale them to you ... bring copy of window sizes for me to take back w/ me or fax them to 352-564-2666
