I think I'm gonna head down there early, leaving at maybe 5:15, and i've also got a guy in a c6 vette and a guy in a rx-8 coming with me (for now) and i'm gonna see about having the chick with the trans am come too. So I'm up for meeting up before we head out, but I wanna head out pretty early.

I was planning on going down to the track on Thursday night. I think Mike with the Stillen 350z (ZEnclosures) will be coming with me as well. Rich

 

Any predictions on what et's you guys will run?

I personally am hoping for a low 14 or maybe even a high 13 (I know thats not likey, but I can still hope)

Maybe I'll reset my ecu so I can get it outa granny mode...... lol

 

thurs night at what time?? will there be any extra car or truck i could put my stock rims in while i run?? if so i will probably come down there

 

people just usually leave their rims by where they are parked
but i dont think jason will be running so maybe we can put your tires in there

 

i want to go for a ride in yours if you decide to come to see what my car will be like in the near future

 

does anyone know if the techs inspect the cars really well also, plus i need to find a helmet. my car being a hatchback has the nitrous in the same area as the driver and some tracks wont allow that.

im thinking i will probably go though, i will know tomorrow....

 

usually they dont check the cars at all from what ive seen.
you pull up in the staging lanes, they write a number on your window and check to see if you have a wrist band, and thats about it. then you just pull forward until its your turn.

how many runs do you usually get there?? its a nice little drive from orlando to bradenton so i would like to at least get in 3 or 4 ???

 

if we get there when it opens i have gotten atleast 3 rund in back to back.
finish drive around get in the staging lane then wait for like 1 or 2 more people to go and then its my turn again.
i think i did like 2 runs in a matter of 5 mins the last time i went.
now as the night progresses on you have to wait more but you should be able to get 3 runs atleast
