1. How many miles should I expect before a brake job on my 05 with non agresssive driving?

2. Is there a way for a minor scratch to be repaired with out repainting the panel? The scratch doesn't seem to go to the metal, just barely below the paint.

Thanks for your feedback!

1. depends on the way you drive. i drive very aggressive and i already have 17k miles on my 05 brakes. they should be good for another 5-7k miles

2. ask you dealer, sometimes they have guys that come in for that. or buy some touch-up paint and do it yourself

1. I have about 31K miles on my '03 non brembo and the brakes are fine.

2. Yes depending on how picky you are. Most of us would probably have the panel repainted. Where are you located?

2) if its not through the clear coat you can get it buffed out for less than $100. If it is through the clear coat you will have to repaint it. Go talk to a body shop.

I have 30K on my Brembo rotors with no issues. Non Brembo rotors are less expensive to replace. If the rotors start pulsing, you can have them turned until they get too thin for safety, then you'll need to buy new ones.

Don't worry about it right now.
