Wheel Repair in Central Florida?

Where can I get my OEM 19's repaired due to curb rash? Nothing major, just a little smoothing and polishing!

Had this done at OI but don't really want to pay $200+ for the repair!

Any suggestions?

I spoke to Glen and he mostly works on OEM wheels only (99%) and does most his business at Mercedes, BMW and Volvo.

If you want someone in Orlando from Mobil wheel repair then call John @ 407-733-9521. I spoke with him and he says he can fix anything??

If you want to call Turbax, then call Dan at 407-908-1820. He will meet you
and determine if the wheel is fixable and then ship them off to their Miami plant. He said around a 3-5 business day turn around.

I just found a 1/4 inch chip in my Volk GT-V's from flying road crap (not curb rash) and will be meeting both John and Dan. I need them fixed!!

I am going tomorrow to racing zone (can't remember there new name). They have sent out many highend wheels out to get fixed and Keith (I think he is the manager) has the same wheels as me which he had repaired. I will let you know!

Checkout Olympic Machinery. They are on Forsyth and I have heard they do good work at a good price. Their number is 407-678-4449.

Anyone have have follow up results??? The guy that used to do my stuff sold his shop.

I took my wheel to the only place here in Jax: Wheel Doctor. The guy wanted $240--cash only (even though he advertises on his door V, MC, etc), and he wasn't going to put anything in writing or give me any kind of warranty, much less some sort of good feeling. I got a really bad vibe, there...

I don't know of any place in Jax. I have personal experience with Glen Almeter Wheel Repair, 407-758-6583. But he is in Orlando.

Yeah, but I have a condo thing in Orlando and Daytona and go there often for 3day weekends and travel the state anyway on business.

Was he reasonable/did he do a decent job for you? My curb rash is about 5" long on the rear lip, only a 1/4" into the side of the lip, and it nicked a spoke as well. In the grand scheme, it's not too bad, but it's driving me insane...I just can't believe these wheels are $849 from Infiniti itself...Just crazy...

It was a quick (<25 minutes) and excellent repair. Since it is the painted wheel, he can repaint it easily.
