Got UTEC?

Anyone in the FG35C have the UTEC installed? What are your impressions and who did your tuning? Thanks for the info.

well NA and it controls my nitrous, the wideband i finally got yest. is messed up damnit. so i have to send it back to turboxs and wait for another one. as soon as i get that and have it datalogging i will be able to even out my AFR a lot better than just watching my wideband and adjusting.

with a good tune some people are picking up 15-20 hp, if you have an ecu reflash you can pick up 5-10 over that and without the reflash you can pick up on average 10-20hp

Jeremy, thanks for the info.

What made you decide on the UTEC over other products like Technosqaure, etc.? Thanks.

Technosquare is just a flash. You can't switch between maps. The UTEC is also the only one on the market under $1500 that you can input exact timing and that is the timing you will get. The EU, Unichip and the like only offset stock timing.

yup you can fully set the timing and the fuel. with a reflash it will set the timing and the fuel ONCE. thats what you are stuck with. with the utec you can adjust it whenever and however you want...

Jeremy, how is your Z running? Are you still happy with the UTEC? I am contemplating adding the MREV2 from Motordyne to my Crawford Plenum, but I am concerned about lean AFR. I have my tuning options down to either the UTEC or Greddy eManage Ultimate.

Side note, has adding the UTEC increased or decreased your fuel mileage? Thanks.

If you add an MREV2 to a car with the Crawford plenum, isn't that compensating for the lean front cylinders twice?

I remember reading that people were going to try this combination, I just don't remember reading any results or dyno runs.
