Cool pictures. I especially love the one of the Ariel Atom.

That looks like a lot of fun... Great pictures, too...

Did you happen to see Teddie (Finiti35) at the Meet? She said she was going...

How much does an event like this wear on your brakes? Do you replace the pads before you go?

Thanks for posting!

I saw Teddie. She was doing great with a huge smile on her face. We talked in the pits a bit during lunch, but I don't think I saw her on the track.

Since I have always gone to the track on street pads I have always been very alert to any sign of fade and then let the brakes cool down for a lap. That being said I have completed four track days on one set of pads that I bought just before my first event. This last day was the longest I had ever drivin in one day around 320 miles and my confidence allowed me to brake fairly hard. Therefore, I went through probably about a third of a new brake pad in the fronts. My old instructor has always always used street pads in his G35 sedan as well. They hold up better than most people think.

I am looking at running at Sebring this year as well. I can't wait. I will be there for the PCA event on the 12th and maybe the SAFE event on the 26th. You have done a great write up. Nice job
