Post your mileage on boosted motors

I was contemplating putting some FI on my coupe and was wondering on the longevity of the VQ on boost. Anyone with a decent amount of miles on a supercharged or turbo'd setup? If so, what setup do you have and what precautionary measures, such as internal upgrades, did you make? Thanks!

Thanks! anyone else? Out of curiosity, how much did it run you for the total setup all the way to completion? Did you put it on yourself?

Vortech 22,000 miles. Stock internals, no gauges (yet), Mobil 1 or Royal Purple motor oil checked every 1500 miles and changed at 3000 religiously. Changed out the bearings in teh jackshaft recently ($30) due to some bearing noise.

Greddy TT kit, 15,000 miles. Nothing to write home about yet so I'm a happy camper.

About 15,000 miles since APS TT install. Mobil One Oil, water injection kit, 8psi, ~420hp on stock block. Boost, EGT, and wideband O2 gauges. Daily driven to hell and back, I'm having a blast.

Good luck!
