Exclamation Expert Help Needed!

Hey guys, my cars been MIA for some time now. I have a twin turbo setup and built motor. I am running nitrous intercooler sprayers just to kind of give you some background.

My car was complete and ready to get tuned. Whenever it was taken for a test drive, the car would choke at around 4,000-5,000 RPM. The car is doing this all the time and throws up a "crank angle sensor position error". That is the only code the car is throwing up and weve done everything to try to fix the problem. Weve tried 8 different crank sensors and none of them work. We bought a new ECU and Harness for the car thinking the wires were bad... We've fixed everything and tried everything but now were scratching our heads.... Any input would be great.

ps. The car is making boost at lower rpms and then just chokes at mid to high range... PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

Man I wish I could help you, but I'm a bit confused as to what might be causing this.

While it might not be the problem you are encountering...........
How are your fuel pump/injectors? No problems feeding fuel under boost and at those rpms?

no the fuel is ok. I was thinking the same but everything is ok. We think it is more of an electrical problem but crap, its getting tough. Given the code its throwing up for the crank sensor, its like wtf is wrong!?

Thank you very much GZire for the input. Please keep ideas coming guys.

Sory to here about your car Kamal. I saw it like a couple months ago at Mossy in El Cajon. PM me your number or get mine, and we probably will be able to work out the bugs.

What type of work was done to the engine as far as "built"?
I am wondering if machining of the heads etc has thrown off the the crank sensor/cam sensor relationship.

One more question. Is the wire for the crank angle sensor wire shielded? Potential EMF interference with non-shielded wire with all you other electronic add-ons?
