Has anyone here PERSONALLY experienced a blown engine with APS ST or TT?
Has anyone here PERSONALLY experienced a blown engine with APS ST or TT?
If so, could you post a reply giving the pertinent details:
Did your engine have stock internals or upgrades?
If the engine was upgraded, what was done to it?
What boost level were you runnng?
What was your WHP (only if known from a dyno run)?
About how many miles were driven since the turbo install?
What octane gas was being used at the time of the failure?
What octane gas was the engine tuned for?
At about what rpm did the engine fail?
Who did the most recent tune?
Are aware of any cooling issues at the time?
How did the engine fail? (Rods, pistons, headlift, other?)
Do you believe that there was a turbo install error?
I'm looking for ONLY personal experience here. If YOU have not personally experienced a blown engine using APS, please do not post a reply. Please do not post information about a blown engine in a friend's car or one you have heard about. Please do not post references to other threads or forums (like my350Z.com).
Thanks very much!!

Hey Bill....are you considering the APS TT?
Remember, the most important factors in blowing a motor are quality of install/tune and boost level. Give me a call since I have been talking to some very experienced people as of late.
