Stillen just have a new prolly...(which is wider & lighter). I just visit them last friday and they replaced it. With this new prolly, Stillen said that the blower belt should last longer

+1...which pulley are you referring to? Are we talking about the idler pulley?

PLEASE PM.

Have done many Stillen blowers. Belt and pulley problems are frequent. Goes with the territory I guess.

Good-luck.

Jon,

If they just replaced your belts then they will need to be tightened after a little driving because new ones stretch a little.

Stillen did have a silver tensioner that was "auto". They changed to a manual tensioner due to belts slipping.

Because of the space limitations they had to use that small 4-rib belt which needed to be bigger so it will wear out semi-often. Here in Phoenix I figure I will need to change it at least every 4 months.

On the other issue, I took off the idler pulley and re-lubed it a couple weeks ago with penitrating lube then replaced my belt, drive it for a couple days and tightened it. No problems or squeels since. That was the first noise I have had with it so far.
