thinking about purchasing the vortech sc
what other neccessities should i get to go w/ the kit to make it run safer
like a aps oil pan??
any info would be great guys

 

From the info I have gathered:

Some gauges(I would get: oil pressure, boost, and wideband A/F)

APS oil pan or oil pan spacer(APS oil pan being the better choice here)

J&S Safeguard wouldn't be a bad idea if you are willing to spend the $$$, but not necessary.


That's all I can think of at the moment. Other Vortech owners can chime in and will be able to answer your question more properly

 

oh, almost left out the most important part. Good tune is a MUST for any FI kits to be safe.
